Snake in the grass

Logan and I found a snake in the grass yesterday while mowing. I'm glad I didn't hit him with the lawnmower, that would have been a little bit disgusting. Bonnie says that this means the grass is getting too long. I also have been seeing more and bigger spiders lately which is making me a little bit paranoid.
