Stair Climber

Once upon a time (about 3 months ago) Haven would happily slide down the stairs on his belly. Now he's decided he's too big for that, even though he's only about sixteen months old. So now he likes to walk down the stairs facing forward. These are not small play stairs, they are big (Texas big) stairs and there are a lot of them. Haven used to let me hold his hand while going down the stairs, but now he will only hold the railing, which has already proved to provide insufficient stability for him on more than one occasion. But when he's made up his mind, there's no stopping him, so I let him do his thing, provide help where I can, and just hope for the best.
